Our design for the Creative Fund Office consists of three layers that provide space to the instutions three central activities. First there is the entrance hall which is designed as a representative foyer. Here, guests are received, projects are displayed and the chance of coincedental disciplinary interactions are facilitated. The second layer is focussed around group work, meetings and presentations in reconfigurable rooms with folding walls. The last layer consists of spaces for individual concentration. Where staff members can retreat and carefully evaluate the many proposals they have to process. A large moving curtain forms a changing backdrop for the various types of occasions such as public events or closed and intimate meetings.
